Strategy+ is advising one of the world’s premier biopharmaceutical companies Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) on the sale of its global infusion therapy business, Hospira Infusion Systems (HIS) to ICU Medical. The definitive agreement was announced October 6, 2016. ICU Medical will acquire all of Pfizer’s global infusion therapy business, (HIS), for $1 billion in cash and stock.
